We've put together a list of our favorite FREE ad creation tools, so you can take on any opportunity.

Low on resources or short on billable hours, brands and agencies frequently face a familiar dilemma: Miss out on a media opportunity because the creative assets aren't there, or allocate resources that are already spread too thin to design them.

However, in the world of digital-instant-gratification, even IT and support staff can become designers.

This list of FREE creative tools puts powerful templates, layouts and tools at your fingertips, so your ads look stunning and professional, even if you're not a designer.

1. Create Animated HTML5 Ads with Google Web Designer

Difficulty Score: 3/5 (Intermediate)

Google web designer is a visual building tool for beautiful HTML5 animated banners. Offering a slew of creative tools in-app, even marketers without photoshop can create animated text, images, and backgrounds to catch their audience's eye.

Users with photoshop experience will notice a very similar layout to the adobe suite. This tool is incredibly powerful, but can take a little extra time to learn. We recommend this Youtube video to get started.

Difficulty Score: 1/5 (Easy)

Canva's free tools allow anyone to become a graphic designer (even if you don't have the eye for design). With a variety of pre-set layouts, simply upload your background image, select some eye-popping text, and share with your team. Download as a PNG and you're ready to go!

3. Legend's Mobile App Creates Stunning Videos and GIFs Instantly

Difficulty Score: 2/5 (Fairly Easy)

The Legend mobile app puts stunning text and effect tools in your palm - literally. Start by uploading a video or static image, and then add animated text over it to share your message. We love the fact that we can do this from the palm of our hands, with videos and images from our phones!
